At the age of 19, Matt moved to New York City in 2006 with dreams of a career in stage and film. Shortly after that, he was cast in his first Broadway show, 'Spring Awakening'.

As Matt's stage career began, so did his singing career. Matt has performed to sold-out audiences in New York's hottest venues, including Le Poisson Rouge, Joe's Pub, and Feinstein's at the Regency.

Matt has lent his voice to numerous soundtracks and recordings. He sang the lead role of Peter on the 2007 studio recording of 'Bare: A Pop Opera'.

Matt can be heard on Will Van Dyke's album, 'Chasing The Day'. He can also be heard on Lowdermilk and Kerrigan's album, 'Our First Mistake', as well as several other LPs from New York's hottest young composers.

In the fall of 2010, Matt began writing with composer, Will Van Dyke. The two wrote a collection of songs for Matt's debut EP, Daylight.

Daylight was funded through overwhelming support from fans on Kickstarter.com. On the day of it's release in 2011, Daylight broke the Top 40 on the iTunes pop charts. It has had continued success since.

Following the success of Matt's debut EP, 'Daylight', 'Constant' will feature six new original songs.

Produced by Will Van Dyke and Derik Lee, 'Constant' was recorded, mixed, and mastered in New York City.

'Constant' will be released on June 12th, 2012.
